Mauricio Molina
Instructor
Dr. Mauricio Molina, founder and director of MMB, is a historical musicologist and early music performer. He holds a Historical Performance degree from The Mannes College of Music (NY) and a musicology Ph. D. degree from City University of New York Graduate Center. He is a professor of medieval studies at the Institute for American Universities and a visiting professor at the Centre International de Musiques Médiévales (Université Paul Valéry). He is the author of Frame Drums in the Medieval Iberian Peninsula, and director of the medieval music ensembles Magister Petrus and Na rota do peregrino.

Raúl Lacilla
Instructor
Raúl Lacilla Crespo is a virtuoso bagpipe player with experience both classical and traditional music. He holds a Bachelor Degree in orchestral conducting from the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (Barcelona), and a Master Degree in Musicology from the Universidad de la Rioja. Raúl is a member of the medieval music ensembles Magister Petrus and Na Rota do Peregrino.
